There is sad news for Apple TV 3 users that you can not directly install Kodi on it. So, Kodi Apple TV 3 is not possible. All the videos on this topic are Fake, and trying them is just wasting time. Apple TV 3 is not jailbroken, so installing a third-party app like Kodi is not possible.
Some experienced developers can Jailbreak ATV 3, but none of them are taking interest to do that. There is a workaround to stream Kodi content on Apple TV 3.
For that, you will need an iOS device and Kodi running on it, and then you can use AirPlay to cast Kodi on Apple Tv 4. I am adding the steps to do that, but the experience won’t be great.

A big issue with this method is that you can not multitask because AirPlay will change the app on TV also. In this situation, you can use AirParrot. AirParrot helps you to mirror only a specific app in our case; we will mirror the Kodi app on our ATV3. This one is most difficult from above mentioned two methods. If you are not good, technically I recommend you not to try this one. You will need a rooted Android device to cast the screen. Installing Kodi on the android device is incredibly simple because Kodi is officially available in Play Store.
AirPlay is not supported in Android, so you need a rooted device to achieve it. If your phone is not rooted, then I don’t recommend you to root your device to use Kodi on Apple TV. Here are the steps.
- Go to Play Store and search “Kodi” and install it. If you don’t find Kodi in PlayStore, then download APK From Kodi Official Site.
- Download and Install Mirroring360 App.
- Use Mirroring 360 and cast the screen to ATV 3, and then start using Kodi.
